According to Adobe Systems their Lightroom installer for Windows contains
both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the application. By default, the 64-bit
version will be installed only on 64bit Windows Vista and Windows 7
operating systems. All other operating systems will install the 32-bit version.
For Mac users Lightroom version 4.3 is only available as a 64-bit application
for OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) or Mac OS X 10.8
(Mountain Lion). As you would expect from Adobe Systems this program
