In the box named File Name Prefix type a suitable name, perhaps one that
is associated with your sequence. Next, if you want to ensure that all layers
are converted and saved untick the box named Visible Layers Only. If this
box is ticked layers with the 'eye' icon dimmed will not be processed. Next
select the File Type from the drop down menu; this may be bmp, jpeg, pdf,
psd, Targa or Tiff.

If the jpeg format is chosen enter the
Export Layers to Files
required compression quality, number
12 being the highest and 1 the lowest
quality. Tick the box to Include ICC
Profile. When you're sure that
everything is correct click on the Run
button at the top right side. You may
now see a few flashing image
screens, some of which may actually
look transparent or blank, don't worry
this is quite normal. After a few
moments when the process is finished
a little box will appear to advise you
that Export Layers to Files was
successful. Click on OK to close this
box. Each individual layer in your
Photoshop file will now be saved as a
separate .jpg file (or whatever other
format you chose) with its own unique
name and number.
