AV Competition 2008
Folkestone Camera Club hosted the biennial Audio-Visual competition on
Saturday 19th April 2008 and for once, outside it was a gloomy overcast day,
usually AV days are bright and sunny.
The hall was full and proceedings commenced with welcoming words from
the Folkestone CC President and the handing over of the new trophy, the
Folkestone Town Council Trophy, by the Mayor of Folkestone to the
President of the KCPA, Glyn Bareham.
Over 40 entries had been submitted but in order not to overload
proceedings (and the judge, Keith Brown FRPS FIPF EFIAP MPAGB) 25
sequences were shown; it is interesting to record that the entries came from
25 photographers from 8 clubs; maybe these statistics will lead to
consideration as to whether the
