The Dobson Henry Medals
John Dobson and Roy Henry were good friends. When John died in 1993 he
bequeathed all his AV equipment to Roy. Roy decided to sell the equipment
and donate the proceeds equally between RPS Headquarters and the RPS
AV Group. As the donation was a significant sum at the time (£450) the Group
used the money to fund Medals, to be called ‘The Dobson-Henry Medal’ This
is presented periodically to the person (or persons) whom the AV Group
consider has made significant contributions to further the Art of AV.
