I note Howard Gregory is mentioned in AV News and from speaking with him
I'm aware how able a person he is. His discs are really good and if anybody
does something on similar lines covering the visual side with digital
technology this would be a great help.
The AV Group have done well to become more open in general allowing
non RPS members to join. However, unless those who have the ability can
devise ways to help those in parts of the country who are unable to attend AV
courses, the potential for greater success of the AV

Postal Charges

There have been several increases in postal charges which I have absorbed.
However I now find myself posting CDs etc at a loss. In future, p&p will be £1
on one CD and £2 on 2 or more CDs. Ask me about postal charges on
preamps etc. I'm still managing to absorb increased component costs, so, for
the time being, the price of CDs, preamps etc is unchanged.
If anyone wants details of the tutorial CD-ROMs that I produce, a track
by-track list of the sound effects CDs, or details of my mic preamps, then just
drop me an e-mail to Howard.

Greetings to those in the AV world who
still remember me .... perhaps even
surprised that I am still tottering around.
Yes I am still a member of the AV
Group and enjoy keeping in touch via
the AV News, though I dont get to any
events these days.
My dear old friend the Royale
desperately needs a loving home, he is
too heavy for me to lift and sits sulking
under my desk wanting out! He has two
sets of lenses, two hand controls, a portable stand (all from Colin!!) is in
excellent condition and has no time for all this digital nonsense his current
owner is engrossed with.
I am in the process of moving to a retirement village and must go without
a lot of photographic equipment which I can no longer use. Is there anyone
out there who will take my old friend the Royale off my hands please? All I
ask is that you collect (Bath area) or pay transport costs and make a
reasonable donation to a charity.
