Build on the fundamentals learned in Watercolor 1 and Drawing 1 by exploring advanced painting and drawing concepts to improve your watercolor technique . Class studio set-ups and independent projects will challenge the artist who is ready for more . A history of art will be presented . A supply list may be obtained prior to the start of class from the Supervisor of Cultural Arts . Professional artist Kristin Haas Instructs . Prerequisite : Watercolor I and / or Drawing 1 .

For the more experienced painter , instructor Kristin Haas will work with you to identify your weak points and show you how to fix them . Dive in and indulge in a hands-on understanding of color and composition and become a betterrounded artist . Each student ' s painting will be given sincerity over two sessions , highlighting strengths and areas for improvement .

Learn the basics of ceramics while completing different projects each week . Weekly projects include learning to make pinch pots , slabs , and coils .

Explore hand building and wheel throwing at your own pace . Create functional and sculptural items , including a bowl , a cup , a serving spoon and more , as you improve your clay techniques and glazing skills . Clay , glaze and tools are provided . Professional artist Vijay Paniker instructs .

Adults with previous musical experience can lend their talent while building their skill as part of a top-notch community band . Weekly rehearsals under the baton of Greg Wojcik prepare this popular group for concerts presented throughout the year . No auditions are necessary .
