The Calabash
GRENADA
The Calabash is a luxury, boutique hotel on a curving bay called L’ Anse aux Epines and in about eight acres of gardens. The suites form a semi-circle in the gardens facing the sea. Trees provide natural shade on the beach whilst the swimming pool is set back. There is a beachside restaurant that serves light lunches and the main hotel restaurant serves dinner under a trailing Thunbergia vine. Breakfast is cooked to order and served on your patio or balcony. A selection of water sports is available on the beach and includes kayaking, paddle boarding and hobie cats; PADI diving is possible nearby with trips to the underwater sculpture park offered. The hotel has added recently four new superior deluxe suites and two hillside penthouse suites, creating new choices of luxury accommodation. The Calabash is a member of Relais & Chateaux and the only hotel in Grenada to hold two Michelin keys.
