Whilst offering excellent year-round facilities, it is in the winter ski season that Fleischer’ s and the resort of Voss really stand out. Voss offers skiing of almost 70 kms of alpine trails for all levels, 20 ski lifts, a free-riding terrain and a family-friendly children’ s area. Cross country skiing is also offered at various altitudes in and near Voss. A great benefit of Voss is access by train from both Bergen, which is anything from just over an hour to about 90 minutes depending on the train, and Oslo, which is almost six hours away, but may suit you if you want to fly into Oslo or stay in Oslo for a few nights before or after. Fleischer’ s is a traditional, historic hotel in the centre of Voss with indoor pool, restaurant and cosy bar. The railway station and the Voss gondola are integrated and just three minutes’ walk from the hotel. The hotel has 110 rooms of varying aspect and some that accommodate families.
