FABLAB
The WWETB FabLab was opened in July 2018 at the Enniscorthy Enterprise & Technology Centre, MileHouse Road, Enniscorthy. The WWETB FabLab is supported by Wexford LCDC (Local Community Development Committee) and Department of Rural and Community Development
FABLAB (Fabrication Laboratory) is a fabrication workshop which gives people the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality. The FabLab is accessible to all people and can work directly with Primary / Secondary schools along with Youth / Adult groups. Individuals and Companies can also avail of the facilities within the FabLab.
The FabLab has 3D printing Machines, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine and Laser Cutting Machine. The FabLab can provide training in AutoDesk – AutoCAD, Inventor & Revit software along with Solidsworks Software.
The FabLab participated in Science Week 11th to 18th Nov 2018 with 3 groups of people attending 1 group from Enniscorthy Vocational College and 2 Groups from Enniscorthy VTOS. All groups were given an introduction to the FabLab and everyone use Coreldraw Software and printed their end product on the Laser Cutting Machine which they brought home.
