Guest speaker Nessa White (General Secretary ETBI) outlined her experiences prior to working with ETBI, fondly recalling her time with County Wexford VEC, followed by an overview of the ETBI its strategic themes and the recognised sectoral challenges, priorities and opportunities. These include enhanced corporate governance requirements, Community National Schools and patronage campaigns, Phase 2 organisational design, ongoing curricular change, and the changing needs of learners and expansion of apprenticeships and the introduction of shared services.

An overview of the Statement of Strategy, was presented by the CE, which was followed by a workshop led by Paul Glynn (Acting Director of Organisation Support and Development).
