Torre Automotive commences Imbizo training roadshow
Torre Automotive kicked off the first of
its national Imbizo (coming together
in isiZulu) sales, product and fitment
training sessions at the Lakes Hotel
and Conference Centre in Benoni,
Johannesburg on Monday, 18 August.
The roadshow will see Torre Automotive
representatives travel to certain
locations across the country, sharing
product, sales and fitment knowledge
with owners and staff of spares shops,
workshops and fitment centres for
the betterment of the automotive
aftermarket. The short courses have
been designed for trade counter staff
and address key factors and issues that
they deal with daily.
Despite being a multi-brand
organisation, Torre Automotive does
not push its Gabriel, Textar and Echlin
The training, which is entirely free for
participants, takes place over three days,
with each topic (shock absorbers, braking
and engine systems), given a sixty minute
slot. Short and sweet, the initiative boasts
a measure of flexibility, as participants can
pick and choose which course they’d like
to attend and be done in an hour.

the platform to educate and upskill the
aftermarket through better product, sales
and general fitment knowledge.
Torre Automotive will provide interested
parties with free transport if needs be and
will communicate future training dates and
locations in local community newspapers.
Once completed, attendees receive a
branded cap and quick reference guide
which includes answers to a number
of frequently asked questions. Tea and
coffee is provided.
