Steps to obtain your vehicle fitness
1 . Book your appointment through the internet , telephone , or directly at the test centre .
2 . Visit your mechanic for a thorough check before your appointment date . You will then be able to make necessary adjustments .
3 . On the scheduled date , bring along necessary documents such as registration book , insurance certificate , and payment fees .
4 . Your vehicle will undergo a comprehensive examination process . This will include identification – where Chassis Number , Engine Number , Engine Capacity , Colour and so on should tally with that on the horsepower ; the state of your carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emission ; the vehicle ’ s movement and braking capabilities ; the overall condition of the vehicle and its functionalities , and so forth .
5 . Upon completion , you ’ ll receive a printout detailing the examination results or a defects list if applicable .
6 . Depending on the outcome , you may need to make further arrangements for repairs or a re-examination .
