The house was built in 1994 to resemble a traditional “English Cottage” and the house, detached garage and backyard gazebo all have slate roofs, cobblestone pathways and zine gutters. Kathy designed a custom paint color in a Blue Grey tone and used the Authentic Home Champagne on Ice paint color to bring the dark wood beams and trim in alignment with the classic cottage style. The new homeowner completely transformed the yard into a captivating English garden complete with several raised rose beds, lavender and sculptured boxwood's. The metal trellis over the gazebo is adorned with white hanging wisteria that provides a sweet aroma come springtime. A new stone sitting wall and slate pavers create the surrounding for a custom metal “Tulip” sculpture which now has become the focal point of this beautiful garden retreat.
