Time Zones
A long lasting effect of world colonization is that when the country lost its land they became a very small country and never got any of their land back.
Austria was once a colonial power with Hungary. They did not rule that much land and eventually lost it but I never would have thought Austria would have been and Colonial power.
Central European Timezone
All of Austria is in one timezone. The timezone they are in is the Central European Timezone. They follow daylight savings time the same way us Americans do. Their timezone is 7hours ahead of ours.
