As per the latest ATAGI statement , all adults aged ≥18 years are eligible for a 2023 COVID-19 vaccine booster dose , if their last vaccine dose or confirmed infection was ≥6 months ago , preferably with a bivalent mRNA vaccine . Some children or adolescents aged 5 – 17 years who are at an increased risk of severe COVID-19 are also eligible . 3

Most frequent adverse reactions with a COMIRNATY booster dose include injection site pain , fatigue , headache , myalgia , chills and arthralgia .
