DAY 1 Brisbane / Gold Coast
An included shuttle transfer takes you from Brisbane to the Gold Coast where the star attraction is its beaches , including the world-renowned stretch of sand at Surfers Paradise , which is where you will be spending the next two nights .
DAY 2 Gold Coast
You may wish for nothing more than to laze on the golden sands , but if you need to keep boredom at bay , the Gold Coast has an array of thrilling theme parks , golf courses with panoramic ocean views , plus there ’ s markets or mega malls which are a shopper ’ s dream . For something altogether more peaceful , why not book a tour to the scenic Hinterland and visit Lamington National Park for rainforest walks and waterfalls ( at extra expense ).

DAY 3 Gold Coast / Brisbane
Travel by shuttle bus back to Brisbane , a city that offers up laidback charm and urban energy with a dash of adventure . If you don ’ t have time for sightseeing , perhaps head up to the rooftops and enjoy a sundowner over a glowing sunset .
DAYS 4-5 Brisbane
Where better to start getting to know Brisbane than South Bank , the heart of the city where you can experience museums , shopping , riverside views and even a man-made beach . For far-reaching city views of the skyline and beyond book a ride on the Wheel of Brisbane or climb Brisbane ’ s Story Bridge ( both at extra expense ). Alternatively , take a stroll around trendy Fortitude Valley , whose James Street is a cultural staple with a toptier fashion precinct and home to some stylish eateries . If you fancy escaping the hustle and bustle , Roma Street Parkland is an oasis of designer gardens and sprawling lawns that wind around stunning parkland . If you want to explore further afield , consider taking the 90-minute ferry to Moreton Island , one of the world ’ s largest sand islands , offering uncrowded beaches , sparkling lagoons and walking trails ( at extra expense ).
DAY 6 Brisbane All too soon it ’ s time for the return shuttle back to the airport for your onward journey .
