DAY 1 Sydney
On arrival in Sydney transfer to your hotel . Perhaps head down to Circular Quay and take in the view of the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge . Dotted around the quay are a wide selection of restaurants and bars , many with stunning harbour views .
DAY 2 Sydney
This morning make your way to the Rocks district to join a Rocks Aboriginal Dreaming tour . This 90 minute leisurely walkabout is in the company of a knowledgeable Aboriginal guide who will introduce you to the diversity of Aboriginal culture and ancient Dreamtime culture practices . The afternoon is then yours to explore as you choose . Perhaps take a ferry to Manly with its cosmopolitan buzz yet relaxed vibe and fantastic cafés , cool bars plus a sprawling beach . Alternatively , hit the shops in vibrant Surry Hills , spend a few hours at an art gallery , admire the wonderful views from the Sydney Tower Eye or , stroll around Darling Harbour .
DAY 3 Sydney / Blue Mountains / Sydney
Head out of the city for a full day tour of Blue Mountains National Park , a wonderland of sandstone outcrops , deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests . Your guide will take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history , flora and fauna of this magnificent region . A stop is also included at Calmsley Hill , a working farm that is also home to kangaroos , emus , wombats and koalas , plus you ’ ll also visit Blue Mountains Botanic Garden .
DAY 4 Sydney
Further time at leisure for independent sightseeing . Perhaps treat yourself to a quintessential Australian experience this morning ; a BridgeClimb ( extra expense ) to the top of the nation ’ s most famous and celebrated structure - the Sydney Harbour Bridge . If you prefer to stay at ground level , enjoy a wander around Hyde Park , the oldest in Australia .
DAY 5 Sydney At leisure before you transfer to Sydney airport for your onward journey .
