DAY 5 Melbourne / Uluru
Fly north to the rusty red landscapes of Uluru , whose backdrop is the world ’ s largest rock monolith . This evening you ’ ll be guided to the perfect perch to catch the last light of the day , with a glass of bubbles in hand !

DAY 6 Uluru
Rise early for a magical Uluru sunrise before you learn more about this spiritual place as you tour the base . Later , head to Kata Tjuta where nature humbles you as you walk through the towering domes of this ancient rock formation .
DAY 7 Uluru / Cairns
Depart the resort in total darkness for the short drive to Bruce Munro ’ s renowned Field of Light , a unique artwork comprising 50,000 spheres of light . You will then join an Indiginous artist for a fun introduction to Western Desert Art before an afternoon flight to Cairns .
DAY 8 Cairns
A day free to laze poolside or wander along the Cairns Esplanade . Optional tours are available which include the chance to cruise with crocs or take a scenic railway ride into a World Heritage listed rainforest ( extra expense ).
DAY 9 Cairns
Board a high speed catamaran and cruise out to the iconic Great Barrier Reef to explore a kaleidoscope of colour . Strap on a snorkel or visit an underwater observatory and semisubmersible craft to take in the sights below the waves without getting wet . Dine tonight at a restaurant on the waterfront .
DAY 10 Cairns / Sydney

DAY 11 Sydney
A day of highlights begins as you go behind the scenes at the Sydney Opera House , discovering its architectural and performance secrets . The world ’ s most famous beach then beckons , with your chance to pad along the sand at Bondi with Sydney ’ s beautiful people . Join a local life saver who will take you into the members-only Bondi Surf Bathers ’ Life Saving Club where you ’ ll learn all about the work done to save lives on this famous beach . Enjoy lunch with views over the Pacific Ocean before you return to the city .
DAY 12 Sydney
At leisure to sightsee as you wish . Alternatively , join a tour of the Blue Mountains ( extra expense ), a place where sandstone escarpments appear to cleave off the edge of the Earth and waterfall-cooled valleys of rainforest slip dreamily from the pages of a fairytale .
DAY 13 Sydney
A further day at leisure . Perhaps linger around the harbour or , if you have a head for heights , why not book a BridgeClimb ( extra expense )? Later , there ’ s a highlight dinner in the shadow of the Opera House .

Fly across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand and this evening , join your fellow travellers for dinner .
