DAY 1 Perth
Arrive Perth and transfer to your hotel . Once you ’ ve had time to settle , perhaps head out and get your bearings , find a central coffee shop to sit and people watch for a while or , discover the lively mix of bars in vibrant Northbridge .
DAY 2 Perth
The morning is yours to explore as you wish . Perhaps take a stroll through Kings Park , which is regarded as the green heart of the city . There are also extensive city and river views to soak up . This afternoon , join a walking tour which starts at the historic Perth Town Hall and then winds you through the city ’ s fascinating lanes and arcades . Along the way you ’ ll hear all about the stories , people and places that make Perth what it is , and may explore landmarks such as the State Buildings and Yangan Square . At the end of the tour , relax at a cool local bar where the first drink is complimentary .
DAY 3 Perth
Transfer from your hotel to the Quay early this morning for a Swan River cruise before taking the Rottnest Express Ferry to Rottnest Island , a paradise for those who love the beach and nature . On arrival embark on a 90 minute coach tour of the island , which includes some of its most spectacular locations , gives an insight to its cultural and historical heritage , diverse wildlife and more . There is time for independent exploration before the return ferry back to Perth and transfer to your hotel .
DAY 4 Perth
If time allows , why not head to iconic Cottesloe Beach , which is as pretty as a picture and one of the city ’ s most popular spots . Alternatively , wander the narrow streets of neighbouring Fremantle or simply wander as you wish or browse the shops . Later , transfer to Perth airport for your onward journey .
