GENERAL INFORMATION
Motorhomes can be rented by anyone with a current , full British driving licence ( aged 21 years or over ) which they have held for at least 12 months . Motorhomes are all automatic for ease of driving .
All motorhomes are diesel ( excluding HiTop & some Voyagers in Australia ). They all also have standard insurance where there is a standard excess for both the HiTop and Voyager in both Australia and New Zealand of $ 5,000 ( while the rest of the vehicles are $ 7,500 ), which is debited to your credit card at pick-up and held as your excess . This can be reduced to zero if you upgrade to the Liability Reduction option or an inclusive pack . All vehicles in New Zealand are ‘ certified selfcontained ’, which is very important for ‘ free camping ’.
FACILITIES INCLUDED
Each motorhome comes with a kitchen with a microwave , fridge / freezer , gas stove , sink and clever storage solutions . You ’ ll also find crockery , china , glasses and a cafetiere ( maui only ). Each offers a shower and toilet ( excluding Britz HiTop and Britz Voyager ) along with hot and cold water ( excluding Britz HiTop and Britz Voyager which have cold only ), plus an awning ( 4 and 6 berth only ) that extends the living space into the outdoors , while all Australian maui motorhomes have an external cooker . If you prefer to stay indoors there is the convenience of an LCD screen with USB and DVD player ( excluding Britz HiTop and Voyager ), or radio and CD player . The driver ’ s cab has both air-conditioning and heating .
