This edition is dedicated to my dad, cornelius a. kanhai, one of the most tech-savvy people I have known. Last Father's Day, he could barely contain his excitement when his grandson showed him the soon-to-be released Macbook Pro with retina display. But Dad was laid up in the hospital, crippled by a mashup of medical mishaps. He begged us for an ipad, and the plan was we would get him one once he could use his hands again, but that day never came.
Dad, I miss you so much. Thank you for nurturing my writing talent, believing in me, and never wavering in your love. Happy Father's Day.
