RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway Ave. The 17th annual Blues on the Fox summer concert series will be one of a kind as it marks the grand opening of RiverEdge Park. JJ Grey & Mofro will open the evening followed by headliner Dr. John, who has garnered six Grammy nominations and is a Rock-and-Roll Hall of Famer. Downtown Aurora A patriotic ceremony will kick-off the festivities outside the Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd., before the parade steps off at 10 a. m. from Benton and River streets. The parade will march east to Broadway Avenue, north to Galena Boulevard, west to Stolp Avenue, south to

Downtown Aurora This year’ s July 4th Fireworks Celebration is bigger and better than ever with free family activities, great local food, live music, and a huge fireworks extravaganza all at three new locations: RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway Av.; Wilder Promenade, 350 N. River St.; and McCullough Park, Illinois Ave. at Lake St. The evening culminates with the area’ s most dynamic fireworks display, simulcast to music, at 9:30 p. m.
