Founder & Principal Engineer Hess Engineering and Construction Consultants( HECC).
William Hess is a seasoned civil engineer and the founder of Hess Engineering and Construction Consultants( HECC), established in 2020. With nearly two decades of experience in both design and construction, Will has developed a reputation for delivering practical, efficient, and value-optimized solutions in site planning and development. Before founding HECC, Will served as the general manager for a prominent site contractor in New Hampshire, overseeing large-scale projects and managing operations. His earlier roles include serving as a field engineer and assistant project manager for a leading heavy construction firm in Massachusetts, as well as the town engineer for a well-known Boston suburb. These experiences have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in civil engineering projects. Will holds a Bachelor’ s degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, earned in 2008. He obtained his Professional Engineer( P. E.) license in 2019 and is a Surveyor in Training( S. I. T.). He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the New Hampshire Good Roads Association, reflecting his commitment to advancing his field and supporting his community.
