Dear Member ,
As the year heads into August and September , we are busy getting ready for the upcoming season . We are finalizing our budgets and getting the yearly schedule of events completed . We are also nearing the end of the growing season for the courses . We have completed or nearing the completion of several projects . The irrigation project is fully underway and is on schedule . The bunker renovation on # 18 Deer will be completed very soon . I am sure you will enjoy the changes . We still have a few more projects to complete by the end of summer . We continue to eradicate weeds on both courses to give you a cleaner look and better playing experience . Several weak areas have been addressed and are nearly healed . We are very excited for everyone to come back and see all the improvements .
The new fiscal year starts October 1st and marks the start of a new membership year . Membership Renewal forms and the Sun ‘ N Lake Code of Ethics / Member Conduct document are being mailed out to each member . We encourage you to also review the Club ’ s rules and regulations document and the full membership packet with all the options and benefits in the Member Area on our website ( sunlakegolfclub . com ). Simply , fill out the renewal form and mail it to the Club with payment , or stop in and see Dee . Dee is our new administrative assistant that will be handling memberships this year . If you have any questions , you can reach her at Dpetty @ sunlakegolfclub . com or call the golf shop at 863-385-4830 . Get signed up in September to be ready to go on October 1st .
I am sure you are all aware of the rising costs of goods due to inflation and availability of product . With that being said , we will be increasing prices accordingly . Beer , liquor , and wine prices will see a slight increase starting in October . Our menu prices have adjusted monthly throughout the year . The good news is food prices seem to be leveling off , especially with cost of proteins .

We are going through several staffing changes and re-organizing the restaurant operation . Our goal is to elevate the member experience at The Club . We are starting a Food and Beverage committee to communicate our membership ’ s needs and concerns . We will email more information on the committee as we get organized . We will inform you of the members on the committee , so you have a member contact to relay any of your thoughts and suggestions .
As always , we are here for you . We welcome all input and feedback , please let me or any staff member know how we can serve you better . I hope to see everyone around the Club .
Cheers ,
