Animals will always come back to see us, even if they have been with you for
a short period of time. Not so long ago, I went to see a mediumship demonstration, and the medium brought through my mum. At the same time she told me
that my Labrador Honey was here as well. Honey was a puppy that we had as a
child, but within a couple of months of her arriving, my parents were told by a
doctor that my sister was allergic to her. So Honey was rehomed, leaving my
sister and I heartbroken. Even though Honey was only with us a matter of
weeks and I hadn’t thought of her in years, she still came through to say hello!
So what other signs will your pet give you that they are there? It can be as simple as you suddenly thinking of a memory that they have put into your head
when you hadn’t been thinking of them at all. They can also contact us through
dreams. A friend of mine recently lost her dog, Magic, who had been part of her life for 17 years. She came and
asked me about a dream she had where she heard her dog barking and felt an enormous sense of peace. When she
woke up she thought it couldn’t have been her dog, but the barking was one of a young dog, not the noises her
dog made in later years. But then she realized it was Magic's barking from when she was young. Magic was telling her that she was healthy happy and young again.
Animals also use other pets as a way of communicating with us. Pets pick up spirit very quickly. You often see
them staring at the same point in a room. If they are relaxed, then you know its someone they feel comfortable
with. Of course, rule out that they aren’t staring at a spider or fly first! Sometimes pets that remain will exhibit the
same quirky characteristics as the pet that has
crossed over, even though they never did so in
their lifetime. Its your pets way of reminding you
of the things you loved most about them, or
found funny about them, and what better way
than seeing it with your own eyes!

Our pets never stop helping us. Even though
your pet may have passed to spirit, they never
stop trying to help us and work with us. Our pets
are always there to comfort us or give us support,
you just have to trust and they will be there.
