Throughout the past year, Taylor Mueller’ s leadership as AAMD President has left a lasting mark on AAMD and for me personally too. Her theme,“ Elevate,” was far more than a slogan— it became the vision that guided nearly every initiative, decision, and accomplishment … as we elevated our programs, education, events and ability to protect the industry. Taylor continually challenged us to elevate our service, leadership, professionalism, and value to our members while never losing sight of the people who make this Association successful.

Taylor’ s leadership of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee was exemplary. She led with confidence, integrity, and thoughtful purpose, creating an environment where collaboration flourished and decisions were made with the long-term success of AAMD in mind. Her unwavering support of me as EVP and of our entire staff was empowering. She consistently balanced what was best for our members with a practical understanding of what our team could successfully execute, earning the trust and respect of everyone around her.
Taylor’ s greatest strength is her calm, steady presence. During challenging moments, she was always available, offering thoughtful counsel and measured perspective that helped guide AAMD with confidence. Because of her vision, grace, and leadership, AAMD has been elevated in meaningful ways and is stronger, better positioned, and better prepared for the future. Thank you, Taylor, for an extraordinary year of leadership and for leaving AAMD better than you found it.
