Watermelon Dog Treat Popsicles A Healthy, Refreshing Summer Treat Your Dog Will Love!
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 Cups Watermelon
• 1 / 4 Cup Plain Yogurt
Optional- Use any fruit you have on hand instead of, or in addition to the watermelon. Try bananas, berries, or canteloupe. Your pet will enjoy whatever fruit you use in this simple recipe! Just be sure not to use grapes, raisins, or cherries 14, as they are toxic to dogs. Avoid citrus fruit as well, as it can cause an upset stomach.
Instructions:
1) Combine watermelon and the yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Set the molds on a cookie sheet to catch any spillage, as making these can get a little messy! Pour into molds or ice cube trays. Paw print molds( available online) are not only cute, they also make a perfectly sized treat for your pet to enjoy!
2) Place the molds in the freezer until frozen solid, approximately for four hours. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer.
