Star Power
The Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival kicked off the organization’ s forty-third season this year with the annual Red Carpet Experience at the Graduate Providence. The event, hosted in partnership with the Rhode Island Film & Television Office, featured dinner, cocktails, an awards reception and a live Oscars telecast by ABC6. The evening celebrated Rhode Island’ s growing cinema community and recognized those who have worked to make it what it is today.— ERIN MALINN
