This fall , AAMD will begin a threeyear partnership with Junior Achievement by sponsoring a custom industry “ pod ” at their Finance Park in Greenwood Village .
Finance Park is an educational program geared towards high school students which teaches financial literacy and prepares them for the next chapter of their lives .
Students who visit the Financial Park for a day will be tasked with making financial decisions based on a set income , including where they live , bank , shop and more . When students visit the AAMD pod , they will learn about the benefits of renting an apartment – and will plant the seed about available jobs in the industry as wel ..
Eight industry partners have signed on to be showcased in this pod – an investment that will help the industry further its long term strategy of promoting apartments as both a place to work and live to over 14,000 students per year !
The industry pod design features images of apartment communities and logos of our industry partners . It is scheduled to be installed in August . The Finance Park will open to students in September .
