Saltzman ’ s Watches has been a Rhode Island institution since 1940 , repairing all makes and models by our in-house team of watchmakers and technicians . Joe Saltzman started Providence Watch Hospital with only $ 500 in his pocket and Richard Saltzman took over in the 1970 ’ s . After a brief retirement , Richard came back and recreated our family tradition in Saltzman ’ s Watches , which is now run by his son Evan , our third generation . We consider our clients family and we make sure both of our stores offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where you are treated well and leave happy . We have expanded to two locations , Cranston and Newport , where we not only service your watch but also sell some of the best brands including Tag Heuer , Breitling , Hamilton , Tissot , Citizen and many more !
