The AAMD Board of Directors and all the amazing Committee Chairs combine to make up the AAMD Leadership Team . These are the volunteer heroes that work with the AAMD staff all year long on governing , designing our strategies , and delivering all of our valuable programs and events to the members .
At June Awards , we decided to honor each one of our Leadership
Team members .
First , we designed a special commemorative medal to present to each of our leaders . Secondly , through AAMD ’ s Apartments Giving Back initiative , we are making a special donation to the non profit organization of their choice . Over $ 20,000 was donated to various charities this past year , and since January 2020 , AAMD donated over $ 156,000 to local and national charities .
