Remembering My Friend

I first met Carol back in 1987 at a Women ’ s Division Luncheon ( pre-Networking Luncheon ). I had just moved here from Phoenix and did not know a soul . When she saw that I was all alone , she immediately took me under her wing and started introducing me to everyone . Typical Carol ! From that day forward , she has always been there for me – whether it be in my business or personal life . She was not only my best friend , but my sister - my family . She even agreed to be my son ’ s Godmother , although I had to tell her to watch what she said around the priest , no F--- bombs ! At the NAA meetings , Carol was always up to some type of shenanigans – we had some crazy times ! Carol certainly enriched my life and made it brighter . Carol taught me so many things and always made me laugh . Her impact on my life and our industry will be felt as long as we live . Carol was a shining star - an angel that will never be forgotten ! Even though she is no longer on this earth , our memories of her will live for years to come !
