INTRODUCING Chris Clinedinst
Chris Clinedinst joined the LLA Staff as the Finance Manager in June . She brings with her over 20 years of Finance experience . In this role , she handles all aspects of accounts payable / receivable , monthly financial reporting , budget and forecasting , and assisting Members with assessment and financial-related questions . She also works closely with the Finance Committee throughout the year , especially during the budget review process .
Chris has several friends who reside in the community and was familiar with parts of Lake Linganore before beginning work at the LLA Office . Proud to be a daughter of a Vietnam Veteran who retired as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy after 22 years of service , she is accustomed to change and adapting quickly . She dove into learning about LLA and her role immediately helping the staff during this busy season . She is looking forward to continuing to learn about all the community offers Members and is impressed that there is something for everyone here to enjoy , from the multitude of amenities to the events .
When she isn ' t working , Chris enjoys being outdoors with her husband of 28 years , spending time with her two adult children , reading , and traveling . She has been fortunate to visit all the states except three and is looking forward to crossing the remaining states off her list soon . She also volunteers with the Alzheimer ' s Association and the Rescue Mission and is actively achieving a goal to learn American Sign Language .
