2022 LakeTalk Special Edition The September issue of LakeTalk serves as a " Special Edition ," covering a myriad of community information for Members to reference . It is also distributed to new homeowners and acts as an excellent resource for them to familiarize themselves with the community . Deer Population The LLA BoD reinstated the Deer Population Reduction Program that was done in previously for the 2022-2023 calendar year . To learn more about this initiative you can review the past programs in the “ Library ” of your Member Account and / or read the 2021-2022 program results in March 2022 LakeTalk .
LLA Office Information Please allow three to five business days to review , answer , and / or fulfill your request , submissions , orders , materials , and reply to emails and / or phone messages . Unsure if you are set to recreate in LLA ? Review lakelinganore . org / memberaccountinfo and / or the “ Knowledge Base ” menu item in your Member Account .
ECC Volunteers Needed All new home builds and exterior improvements or modifications to property in LLA must be reviewed and approved by the Environmental Control Committee ( ECC ) before starting work . The ECC typically meets twice per month to review applications . If you are interested in volunteering for the ECC , please email GM @ lakelinganore . org .
Motor Free Zones Buoy perimeters establishing motor-free zones in Lake Linganore are in place again this summer . One zone is off Nightingale Beach , and the other zone is off Coldstream Beach .
LakeTalk Reading Options LLA provides a digital edition available to all Members and a printed physical copy to those who subscribe . The digital version is uploaded to the file library and posted as an announcement in your Member Account every month . Members with an email address on file will receive an email notification with a link to the issue . Please note , all Members with an email address on file will receive the digital version of LakeTalk regardless of whether or not they are on the USPS mailing list ( if email preferences are established as such ).
If you currently receive a copy in the mail but wish to “ Go Green ” and help save the Association money ( paper , printing , mailing , etc .), you can unsubscribe from the mailing list in your Member Account , and you will still receive the digital edition ( identical to the printed edition ). Below are the steps to unsubscribe from the LakeTalk USPS mailing list .
After logging in on your desktop ( www . lakelinganore . org / myaccount ): 1 . Select the “ My Account ” menu item 2 . Ensure you are on the “ User ” tab 3 . Click the blue “ Leave ” button to the group “ LakeTalk USPS Mailing List ” under the “ Subscribe to Option Groups ” section
