ON THE RANGE : RANGEFINDERS ( DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICE ) / USING THE RANGE FOR PAR 3 SIMULATION .

Rangefinders ( distance measuring device ):
A Rangefinder is a piece of golf equipment I believe every golfer should have . The ability to actually know the exact distance of a shot or target , is crucial to a golfer ’ s success . This is not only true for on course play , but also for practice time on the range . Most practice ranges have flags or poles to aim at , but many of them do not have any specific yardage for the targets on the range . Having a range finder allows you to always know the yardage to those targets . It also lets you find more creative distance targets on the range to make your practice even more effective . One complaint about rangefinders I ’ ve heard over the years is these devices are too expensive . I would agree that was a true statement 5 to 10 years ago . The good news now is there are some really good rangefinders for golf on the market now for under a $ 100 .
Par 3 Simulation :
Most golfers believe Par 5 ’ s are the hardest holes on the course because they are the longest holes on the course . The truth is , the Par 3 ’ s are the toughest holes on the course from a scoring perspective . I know what you ’ re thinking , how is this possible ? It ’ s actually pretty simple . The
