Nightime Walk
AUG. 5: Take a leisurely walk along the
trails at Touisset Marsh Wildlife Refuge.
Observe the twilight activities and watch
for wildlife in the meadows and marsh.
Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and insect
repellent. Plus, bring binoculars if you
have them. The Audubon will follow CDC
guidelines for all programming and will
be limiting attendance to a maximum of
nine people per program, plus the leader.
All participants are required to wear a

Haunted Boat Rides
AUG. 5, 12, 19 AND 26: Captain Peter and
Providence Riverboat’s guest guides from
Providence Ghost Tours will introduce
you to some of Providence’s longest-lingering
residents as you cruise through
the waterways. Surrounded by the moonlit
bridges, cobblestone walkways and
century-old parks of downtown, you’ll
learn about the capital city’s deceased
(but not-so-departed) residents. Local
literary giants and humble servants alike,
their restless souls still stir among the
living. This tour is appropriate for ages
