T he Bundu Lodge, situated between Nelspruit and White River, once again played host to the ever evolving Partinform show, where the strong message to the players in the automotive aftermarket is “buy quality branded product”. Whether you are a parts reseller, a workshop, a fitment centre, or an informal mechanic or DIY exponent, it makes sound business sense to fit OE equivalent parts, because inferior products are not only dangerous, but detrimental to the bottom line in the long run. Partinform is also a great place to learn about new products and new technical innovations, and for those who do not have many opportunities to interact directly with the manufacturers, it is also a great place to get fitment tips and other technical information directly from the horse’s mouth. And so it was with the Nelspruit Partinform trade show, with quality networking, information sharing, quiz shows, refreshments, and general bonhomie to ward off the winter chill. aBr, a fanatical supporter of Partinform, was there to record the event. | words in action 64 august 2014
