Partinform
Heats up
Nelspruit
Ready to Roll
T
he visitors to Partinform start arriving at about 17h00, but of course much
activity takes place in the hours before the start as the manufacturers set
up their stands. aBr took the opportunity just before 17h00 to take a peek
at the freshly set up stands:

It is not very usual for
Nelspruit’s temperature to fall
below 10 degrees Celsius but
on the evening of 9 July 2014
a cold front had reached the
Lowveld, and on a relatively
freezing night when the
mercury dropped to three
degrees Celsius, the good
folk of Nelspruit and surrounds
had the cockles of their heart
warmed up by an upbeat
Partinform trade show.
T
he Bundu Lodge, situated between Nelspruit
and White River, once again played host to the
ever evolving Partinform show, where the strong
message to the players in the automotive aftermarket
is “buy quality branded product”. Whether you are a parts
reseller, a workshop, a fitment centre, or an informal mechanic
or DIY exponent, it makes sound business sense to fit OE
equivalent parts, because inferior products are not only
dangerous, but detrimental to the bottom line in the long run.
Partinform is also a great place to learn about new products
and new technical innovations, and for those who do not have
many opportunities to interact directly with the manufacturers,
it is also a great place to get fitment tips and other technical
information directly from the horse’s mouth.
And so it was with the Nelspruit Partinform trade show,
with quality networking, information sharing, quiz shows,
refreshments, and general bonhomie to ward off the winter
chill. aBr, a fanatical supporter of Partinform, was there to
record the event.
