WSCA Digital Spotlight www . wsca . org 2023 - August - 23
I can ’ t believe this is my second to last time I will be writing an update . The realization that my reign as WSCA Queen is almost over is coming very apparent to me . I have printed a year worth of photos and I am so excited to get my scrapbook together so you will all be able to look at my adventures over this incredible year .
July was quiet , but did not disappoint with many photo opportunities . I was able to get out to some shows . Tri-County Riders of Watertown celebrated their 55th year anniversary . I want to send an enormous thank you to them as they personally invited me and my court to join in their celebration . I was also able to go to my hometown to share information about WSCA at the annual BBQ Days Horse Show , a quiet closed show that is put on for the public . The next day Sarah and I joined the Minnesota Valley Riders Saddle Club in the BBQ Days Parade in Belle Plaine , MN . It was so much fun seeing everyone and spreading WSCA to so many people .
This month I am so excited for the 2023-2024 WSCA Queen candidates as they are completing their first portion of the royalty contest . On Friday August 11th the court and I will be in attendance for judging of the contestants and the 2023 WSCA Royalty Banquet at The Mermaid Event Center . I applaud every single one of these ladies for making the leap into this competition . It is truly an amazing experience , enjoy every second of it !
The court and I will also attending the Special Olympics State Equestrian Event . I am so excited to hang out with all of the athletes . Being a special education teacher , this event really hits home , and having WSCA support this cause is a fabulous opportunity .
We are starting to prepare as a court for the 2023 WSCA Championship Show — we can ’ t wait .
Until next month !
God Bless , Kalli Koepp 2022-2023 WSCA Queen
