In April 2021 , the Collaborative Learning Center ( CLC ) was renamed the Charlotte Sharp Children ’ s Center ( CSCC ) in honor of Charlotte Sharp , the late wife of TAMU Chancellor John Sharp . CSCC is open all year , providing high quality preschool-kindergarten programs for ALL children in the Brazos Valley area .

Charlotte Sharp Children ’ s Center ( CSCC ) Information
• Full-day childcare / preschool , $ 775 / month
• Half-day childcare / preschool , $ 450 / month
• Private Multi-lingual Kindergarten ( English , Spanish , ASL )
• Open all year , 7:15 am – 6:00 pm except for holidays
CSCC is the first building to be constructed for the TAMU-community project called the Intergenerational Learning Center . CSCC is the first of five buildings to be built in Hensel Park area located near University Drive and Texas Avenue . Construction of four senior living facilities will begin soon .
The intergenerational project will provide opportunities for research-based learning opportunities and research through onsite educational experiences for young children and their families , senior citizens , TAMU faculty , staff , and students , and local agencies and programs working with families .
