A quaint and delightful voice enchants you...
The pretty garden grows around your ears as twinkling notes dazzle, hands begin a slow clap and the melodic piano takes your hand leading into the dance. The steady beat creates an easy-going sense of cool, modern whimsy.
‘Lonely’ by Eden Nash is the first single from her brand new EP of that same title. It features 3 original songs: ‘Lonely’, ‘Just The Same’ & ‘Better Off This Way’ and 1 cover song of ‘Let It Be’.
Back in February this year Eden released her first song which was a collaboration track with Ren Gill called ‘Humble’ which you can listen to from Hyperurl.co/humble . This song has currently reached over 370k streams on Spotify and has been played on BBC Introducing as well as having a sold-out performance at Brighton festival performing this song. So now is the perfect time for Eden to release her original music as a solo artist!
Her tones reflect on emotions yet we feel her confidence blossom as she builds energy and is invigorated by inner strength. Eden Nash has a lovely urban street style of singing yet also flows smoothly between soft skilled notes and feathery elegance.
Keep fighting on, don’t worry
You are strong, keep going
You might feel lonely
But I know it’s gonna be okay
Inspired by artists such as Jeremy Zucker and Anne-Marie, Eden spent endless hours in her room in Essex writing songs with a few basic guitar chords that she had learned. Each song was then produced and perfected in the studio with James Smith over the next 5 months.
The single ‘Lonely’ is the first song on the EP which was written for Eden’s niece. This song will be released first as a single on Friday 11th November.
‘’At the beginning of the year, my niece was getting bullied in school which resulted in her being taken out to be homeschooled for a while. I decided to get working on a new song with her in mind to help not only her get through times of feeling lonely but to hopefully also help others that are going through similar situations in order to help them feel more positive about how things will eventually turn out.’’
