The ‘DVNC EP’ is a lovely trio of artistic expressions through the form of sound. Tommy J Gren delivers intricate dance movements and explores the possibilities of the futuristic world. Specialivery goes hard with a cold, dark pounding beat and gritty bass fusions. Parsifal’s soft and elegant creation gives the feeling of floating amongst the clouds in a delicate dream. A journey through time and space.
This release is meant to honor Leonardo da Vinci in the year of the 500th anniversary of his death. Leonardo was eccentric and pure genius. A dreamer who channelled researches in art and science giving birth to fantastic innovations in many fields.
Kinesen top players - Tommy J Gren, Parsifal and Specialivery - decided to build a shared EP trying to break everyone's personal limits into music production, channelling other music genres influences with their personal sound identity, editing with heart and unaffected music industry standards or finally, more savage, recording a live session fully made with analogue machines. The resulting EP was very satisfying and everyone learned that we should always work standard-free and thinking out of the box.
