Ireland delivers a very sweet portrayal of love in all it's beauty with ‘Together’ by Ryan O'Shaughnessy.
Cyprus turns up the heat with a flavourful and lively ‘Fuego’ by Eleni Foureira. This is probably the most Eurovision-y performance with a bright and spicy dance number that is an instant party-starter.
Unfortunately, usually among our favourites, Azerbaijan did not make this year’s grand final. ‘X My Heart’ by Aisel was uplifting and vibrant, though perhaps not bold enough.
My winner? It's between Cyprus and Estonia, but it is Estonia with the amount of times I said "wow". It was simply stunning.
The real winner? Israel. And it is a really good change because it isn't the type of song and act we usually hear or would usually win. It's interesting to see how even traditional competitions are changing with the times in terms of sound and becoming more diverse. Congratulations Israel, catch you next year!
