Canadian duo Lex & Wood drop their ‘Like This EP’ as the debut release on new label Stashed Music, one that immediately sets the musical tone for this exciting new imprint.
Stashed Music is a new label founded by prolific electronic artist DJ S.K.T, who has teamed up with a number of like-minded childhood and music industry friends, each of whom brings their own unique experiences, knowledge and passion to the table. Stashed Music’s remit is to unearth raw new talent as well champion established producers: talent that is not afraid to push the boundaries of modern house music.
The label’s debut release is ‘Like This EP’ from Lex & Wood: a three-track collection of sublimely produced, visceral dancefloor cuts.
Montreal duo Alessandro and Benjamin AKA Lex & Wood are leading the charge of city’s next generation of house producers. The rising stars have already released on the likes of Armada Subjekt, Eton Messy and Great Stuff Recordings, but have arguably saved their best for Stashed. All three cuts on the ‘Like This EP’ feature deep, rich basslines, sinewy drums and hypnotic hooks that set them well above the usual tech house fare.
