Being from America, it has been very tough taking my mind off the present and trying to focus on topics in music to write about. We have all been wrapped up in social justice, and standing up for what we believe in, we have all lost track of our creativity and have focused on objectivity and advocacy. It is a time that will be remembered, but we have to get through it first.
So, trying to think of the right topic for this month’s “Sarah’s Thoughts,” I reflected on things that happened either that have left an impact. The only way I can really say what I am thinking is through music. So, I created a short playlist of songs to uplift spirits, and promote ideas to believe, and stand up for what is right.
