The food & drinks look exceptional. Which one signature cocktail and meal would you recommend?
Ok, this is a tough question because we worked on a food menu which is great and an extensive drinks and cocktails card.
I would suggest the Lamb Cutlets - have it rose with a good glass of red wine and you will enjoy a perfect evening.
The Jumanji Tiki Cocktails are best sellers, composed of premium rum, pineapple and orange juice, falernum syrup & lemon vanilla bitter.
What are your aims?
Ultimately we want to create the first successful Mauritian franchise all over Africa. Before that we need to fine tune every aspect of the business and we are really attentive to the details and feedback.
That's why we have invested so much in the concept with a world-class design, an international multi-awarded chef and the latest technology.
My aim is to create something that will last long after me.
Can you reveal more on the franchise plan?
We have openings with serious investors who are interested to bring the concept to Antananarivo and Nairobi already.
You have a high level of business acumen. What would your advice be to young individuals who have big dreams in the creative & business areas?
I will say always stay a rebel, think out of the box, spend time with yourself and keep a positive surrounding, thoughts and environment
If you believe in something, trust your gut feelings and do not let the people around you drain your energy. Sometimes even your closest friends and family will try to bring you down, often without realising.
