are top draw and take these classic tracks right up to date. It’s been great to see the different ways the artists have used the original parts in such unique ways. We want to use this platform that Marv has so generously given to us to promote the rising talent in the UK Bass scene. The backing and guidance that Marv provides is hopefully going to make this label a success too and we hope to share it with as many talented artists as possible. It’s a small scene and we should all stick together and push it forwards.
5. What are your aspirations for the future ?
We want to push YRB as far as we can, we have high hopes and plans for the label and for getting good music out there. As for 2RS we will continue to work closely with Selena and will certainly have more productions with her following on from ‘Do I?’. We are both working hard in the studio on other projects away from Bass music, we both enjoy all genres and it’s a great pleasure to be able to write conventional songs for commercial artists. Also we are both studying music production at degree level, so to pass our respective courses and have a long and healthy career in the music industry is the BIG goal. We also have a mix coming up in October for the iLoveUKG Presents series which will include 'Do I?', Yardrock Bass tracks and Dubs from us.
