RM aka RMONEY - Trapped In mixtape
This young UK rapper has been cutting through the underground music scene with a continuous workflow, which in the wake of his latest mixtape release, ‘Trapped In’ is going from strength to strength.
With a continuous release of music videos (close to 50 videos can be found online), a number of self released mixtapes and a live performance resume, which includes opening act for LOX UK show at London Indigo-02, among a number of others, this rising star has a bright future ahead.
Contrary to the title of his latest release ‘Trapped In’, which was released via the UK’s leading mixtape site Hoodtape.co.uk, RM seems to have the wind beneath his wings.
Many would say that this young talent has been overlooked, but in the streets, on the ground, this is what the people are listening to. His style is one that sits on the borderline merging both Trap Rap with motivational music. He uses a vocal style, which is aggressively convincing while keeping most of his lyrics true to his life experiences. Unlike many other rappers in the UK this young wordsmith always finds a way to enlighten us about his day-to-day experiences keeping most things straight to the point but with an enormous sense of finesse, which can’t be missed. His lyrics seem to engage with his core audience with easy and he is definitely one to include his female audience.
‘Trapped In’ features a number of artists including Lil Torment, SAS, Pose, KP, Jae Boogz and regular collaborators Young Krumbs & Fire Blaze as well as others.
