When you are not doing music, what are some of the things you do to pass your time?
I’m a software developer and hardware engineer and my day is mostly spent conceiving ideas, working with new technology and building Proof of Concepts. As a professional Creative of multiple disciplines, this is pretty much my life. I don’t watch TV; TV is for wimps! I’m constantly dreaming ideas up and then creating them, be it music, software, or hardware or any other way I can creatively and productively express myself. I am also part of the Wayne Haskett Martial Arts Club and enjoy kickboxing.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you choose to go? Why?
I’d go back in time in my DeLorean. I couldn’t possibly tell you where or why, apart from to say she was blonde and about 5’5!
Do you have any new and/or exciting things you would like readers to know?
Early 2015 look out for a remix I have done for Dichali featuring Amrick Channa who starred on TV show The Voice. I’m also looking forward to working with Duce Martinez on some new material for his label in New York and of course ill be collaborating again soon with my good friend and fellow producer James May (8th Note). After nearly 18 months I will also finally release a track entitled ‘All my Sons’. The demo mix of ‘All My Sons’ featured as the opening track on my last mixtape, Deep & Soulful Mix Series #35 which is available on my website.
What is your favorite type of food?
Unprocessed foods, if possible! I eat a lot of fruit. I love super fruits like cranberries.
What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
Everyone getting together and the children of the family open their presents on Christmas Day. We also have a family tradition where at the stroke of midnight on NYE, all the children at home are given money to put in their pockets and then go outside and walk through the front door. Looking in the New Year with money in your pocket brings good luck.
