I would also like to highlight some recent changes you may have noticed in your City Council. On November 5th, residents headed to the polls, electing two new faces to City Council, John Burmeister and VeRonica Mitchell. Mayor James McDonald, after having served Auburn Hills for over 24 years, declined to seek reelection this year. The community is grateful for his time served as Mayor while the City Council will continue our commitment to serving the people of Auburn Hills. As your new Mayor, I look forward to representing this remarkable city as we continue to move forward.
