What is the Wheel of Fortune trying to tell us? And why is this specifically important on Samhain/All Hallows Eve, the one time of year when the veil between the material and physical worlds is at its thinnest? For one thing, the Wheel asks us to keep moving, to not stand still. It asks us to flow with the cycles of life, and to know that adversity is only a pit stop on the Wheel. It asks us to remain active in our lives … even though we are flowing with the energy around us, and not resisting it, there are actions that we can take to get where we want to go. While much of life is out of our control, we need to become friends with the tools that we have to maintain what control we can at all times, in a positive manner.
Know that new directions lead to new paths, and new opportunities. What we are looking for in the time of the thinning of the veil is not necessarily new opportunities, but the ability to access our ancestors, our spirit guides, our spirit allies, and spirit itself. Through opening yourself to this information, through listening with an open mind and an open heart, you open yourself to seeing life from a new perspective, to finding new directions, and perhaps a new path that you need to follow.
